St George Eritrean Orthodox Church is a welcoming place of worship and fellowship serving Birmingham and the wider community. We bring people together to grow in Christian faith, support one another and pass our spiritual and cultural heritage to future generations.

Volunteer-led and accountable
St George Eritrean Orthodox Church has been a registered charity since 2012. The charity is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees elected by Church members and operates in accordance with its governing document and the requirements of the Charity Commission for England and Wales.

Our volunteers are DBS checked where required, and the charity has a designated Safeguarding Lead. Experienced Church members generously give their time, knowledge and skills and are a vital pillar of the charity.
